Thank you for inquiring about performing at the EF Lane. Due to the large number of 

requests about what is involved in getting gigs here I thought it would be helpful to 

give some general information. First the EF lane doesn't have a regular crowd like many 

places so it puts it on the band to get the crowd in here. Local bands with a following 

can get a crowd if they have a good email/facebook/myspace presence, put up posters 

around town, word of mouth, etc. Also bands with strong local connections may do fine. 

It is hoped that bands can get about 20 to 40 people or more in to make it worth while 

for everyone. 90 is the capacity for the room. The EF Lane will list the bands in the local 

papers The Keene Sentinel and the Shopper News and at times radio spots. 

There is no guarantee for the band. The band gets the door. Most bands do $5. Some do

up to $8. You set the price. Band members get a choice off the menu. Sometimes we can

offer a free room to bands from out of town.

Wednesday evenings are primarily for performance gigs, Thursdays jams (no band

booking) and Friday and Saturdays for bands who can get people up dancing.

It's a good room to perform in and bands like to return. Please check out the current
