Dave Brown from Peterborough, NH
Dave started playing piano and clarinet as a kid and switched to guitar in high school with his first band, The Lonely Souls. He graduated from the Berklee College of Music and played the Boston music scene for two decades. His psychedelic band Handle with Care opened for Procul Harem in Kenmore Square, and he played bass with the M.T.Bottle Blues Band at the Candlelight Lounge with guest stars such as Dave Maxwell, Chicago Bob and James Montgomery. In the 70's he played folk rock, opening college concerts for Billy Joel, Tom Rush and John Sebastian and touring with Jonathan Edwards. He took up swing with The Nancy Garrick Band and joined a blues trio with the legendary singer George Ley and drummer Mike Avery, with Ronnie Earl and Professor Harp sitting in. After moving to New Hampshire in the 90's, Dave played with Skip Philbrick at the old Rynborn club in Antrim. Eventually he joined the Rynborn house band Otis and the Elevators and started the classic-rock band Dave and the Daddy-Os, which is still going strong.
